中芯国际开始量产Aurora Systems设计的LCOS芯片

中国半导体代工厂商中芯国际半导体制造公司（semiconductor manufacturing international corp.（smic））开始批量生产美国aurora systems公司设计的lcos（liquid crystal on silicon）芯片。

该芯片将用于纯数字高清（分辨率1920×1080）及高清晰（分辨率1280×720）的大型背投电视。aurora system设计的这种芯片目前已被多家大型家电厂商采用。
