这款芯片拥有高性能的四个A9处理器核心和Imagination PowerVR SGX544图形处理器，除此之外，它还内建了独立的VPU (Video Processing Unit)引擎和ISP (Image Signal Processing)引擎,并支持H.264/HEVC格式,从而具有强大的视频回放和录制能力。

•ATM7039打破了“高性能=高功耗”的成见，透过炬力在猫头鹰系列上独有设计的“第三代功耗设计(LPD Gen. III, Low Power Design Generation III)”技术和“自适应动态功耗(Adaptive Dynamic Power)”技术，ATM7039在提供卓越的性能基础上，实现了超常的电池续航时间。

•基于ATM7039芯片的平板解决方案也提供了具有竞争力的BOM(Bill of Material)成本，这得益于这款芯片的高集成度。ATM7039集成了平板产品必需的LVDS、HDMI,以及MIPI接口，此外也集成了64bit DDR3/DDR3L存储控制器以及支持72bit ECC/Toggle NAND的flash控制器。ATM7039集成了USB3.0/2.0控制器，从而可以实现高速率和外围设备之间的数据交换。ATM7039通过和ATC2603芯片(集成了PMU和Audio Code)的搭配使用，为平板电脑产品提供了一个高具性价比和竞争力的芯片平台。
