加速宽禁带产品供应并推出15款全新基于GaN的成功产品组合参考设计
2024 年 6 月 20 日，日本东京讯 ― 全球半导体解决方案供应商瑞萨电子（以下“瑞萨”，TSE：6723）今日宣布，已于2024年6月20日完成对氮化镓（GaN）功率半导体全球供应商Transphorm, Inc.（以下“Transphorm”，Nasdaq：TGAN）的收购。随着收购的完成，瑞萨电子将立即开始提供基于GaN的功率产品和相关参考设计，以满足对宽禁带（WBG）半导体产品日益增长的需求。
与传统的硅基器件相比，GaN和碳化硅（SiC）等WBG材料具有出色的功率效率、更高的开关频率和较小的占用空间，因此被视为下一代功率半导体的关键技术。受电动汽车（EV）、变频器、数据中心服务器、人工智能（AI）、可再生能源、工业电源转换和消费应用等需求的推动，GaN和SiC产品预计在未来十年内都将快速增长。
